How it works

The same three steps on both pages. Nothing is final until you have met the dog.

Step one

Send your application

Pick a dog and press Apply. Nine short questions about your home, your schedule and your budget. It takes about two minutes.

Step two

Talk to us properly

Your application comes straight to us and opens a chat. We answer questions, send more photos and arrange a time to meet.

Step three

Meet, then take them home

You meet the dog first, always. If it is a match we handle the paperwork, the health record and the handover day together.

Why we ask so many questions

A dog is 10 to 15 years, not a weekend

Most dogs that end up in rescue were bought by somebody who meant well and had not thought about year three. Our application is not a test you pass or fail — it is how we work out which of our dogs actually fits the life you already have.

  • Every dog leaves vaccinated, wormed and vet-checked
  • We tell you the difficult things: the fear of men, the pulling, the house-training gaps
  • Two weeks of follow-up messages after handover, free
  • If it ever stops working, the dog comes back to us — no questions, no charge

“We were treated like people, not a sale. When we said we needed a week to think about it, that was simply fine.”
